Quick answer: CalValley Senior Living Advisors is a free senior living placement service in Fresno, run by co-founders Shaun and Nick. We help Valley families find licensed assisted living, board and care and memory care, and we tour every home with you.
We're equal partners with 40+ years between us serving people here in Fresno. We started CalValley because finding a good place for someone you love shouldn't be this hard, and because too many families end up handing their info to a call center that has never set foot in a Valley care home.
Nick
Nick is a former police officer who spent years at Community Regional, and his wife is a nurse. He's the one you want walking through a home with you. He notices the stuff you'd miss on a first visit: how staff talk to residents, what the night shift looks like, whether the place is actually safe.
Shaun
Shaun has a psychology degree and owned licensed treatment centers here in the Valley. He knows how licensed care is supposed to run, what inspectors look for, and how to help a family through the hard parts: dementia behaviors, sibling disagreements, a parent who says "I'm not leaving my house."
